The AirFuel Alliance Opens New China Offices with BII, Expanding China Presence for AirFuel Resonant Wireless Charging

August 30, 2017 – Shenzhen, China – The AirFuel Alliance (www.airfuel.org) announced this week that it had successfully reached a strategic cooperation with BII (www.biigroup.com) to jointly establish the China Office of the AirFuel Alliance. This new China office will help the AirFuel Alliance fully promote AirFuel wireless power standards, facilitate the formation of testing and certificating standardization, collectively build the Chinese wireless power eco-system, and accelerate the broader application and deployment of wireless power technologies.  This will ultimately help enable a more relaxing and convenient experience for consumer and enterprise customers.

In today’s world, communication and computing are wireless, yet we still find ourselves tethered to the cords and power supplies that keep our devices up and running. As technologies advance, the desire from the public is trending stronger. The report released by Markets and Markets has it that by 2022, the global wireless power transmission market will reach 11.27billion dollars, at a compounded annual growth rate of 23.15%. It proves that the fast development of the wireless power over many years will finally usher in an era of full explosion.

As one of the major and most important entities in the realm of wireless power, the global AirFuel Alliance was established to drive wireless charging standards and increase adoption of wireless charging products. The cooperation between BII and AirFuel will surely propel the deployment of AirFuel technology in China and boost, to the utmost, the implementation of the wireless power industry in China through powerful association between the two.

According to the Chairman of AirFuel Alliance, Ron Resnick, “Regarding the wireless power industry, China has a huge market. We will commit ourselves to wider knowledge and application in China, and enable more and more enterprises and users to enjoy the huge value brought by the wireless power.

“Each technological innovation bears every possibility of changing the world”, said Liu Dong, Chairman of BII, Director of CFIEC. Over the years, BII has been dedicated to cutting-edge technology research and development and has blazed a trail of standardization and industrialization from international cooperation, leadership in international standard development, initiation and establishment of industrial alliance, summit convening to promote academia, study, research and application and establishment of public service platforms. The cooperation with AirFuel Alliance not only marks another practice of the original industrialized development but also means a breakthrough in the innovative combination without being confined to the network technologies.
